Abstract
This study is aimed at scrutinizing the size of impact brought by motivation, leadership style, work atmosphere and compensation towards work satisfaction of the staff of Bintan and TanjungPinang city Health Department. The independent variables are; motivation, leadership style, work atmosphere and compensation, the dependent variable is the work satisfaction.
The sampling method used in this study is census which is a sampling method where all members of the population become the sample. The reason in choosing this sampling method is due to the small size of the population, 186 respondents, who are staff of Bintan and Tanjung Pinang city Health Department.
The result of calculation from the value of R in the multiplied regression analysis of this study shows that the Determinant coefficient is as much as 0,55,2%, with the remaining 44,8% affected by other variables.
The result of the F test is as much as 57,054 with the probability level of 0,000 < 0,05, which shows that the motivation, leadership style, work atmosphere and compensation variables bring a simultaneous impact toward work satisfaction.
